Who we are

Peta began facilitating yoga classes in 2002, guiding all ages in various styles of classes. Peta has studied with Master teachers both locally and overseas and looks to Simon Borg-Olivier, John Weddepohl, & David Burgess as her Master teachers. Peta loves to weave the practice, philosophy and practical application of Tantra, Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and old wisdom through her teachings in a way they can be well received, applied & integrated by the everyday human.

David Burgess

David Burgess is a highly respected yoga teacher, mentor, and philosopher with decades of dedicated practice and teaching experience across pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy. Formerly the head of Yoga Philosophy for the International Yoga Teachers Association's (IYTA) Diploma of Yoga Teaching program, he guided many students toward more fulfilling lives through his extensive knowledge of yoga history and theory. Now retired and enjoying life in Tasmania, David is renowned for advocating a systematic and safe approach to pranayama, emphasizing proper preparation and gradual progression. His holistic teaching philosophy integrates physical practices with philosophical understanding, highlighting the significance of yogic breathing for overall well-being. Through workshops and contributions to discussions on modern yoga practice, he remains committed to preserving and sharing the authentic traditions of yoga.
Alana is a passionate hatha yoga teacher specialising in yoga and meditation for mobility, stress reduction and anxiety management.
Alana was the Director of Manly Yoga, one of the oldest and most respected authentic yoga centres in Sydney. Now Alana and her husband Dom live permanently at their farm in Jamberoo and Alana is offering yoga classes to the local community. Alana trained and taught at the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) under David Burgess, a master teacher of pranayama (breath work) and meditation.
